I wonder how many of the people who said Christina has no right to talk about misogyny because of the way she dresses also feel the same way about Gaga. If what Christina was wearing was a sparkly diaper…then what was Gaga wearing? Half a sparkly diaper?
I also find it kind of funny how because Christina wears revealing clothes, everyone says she’s a slut or an attention seeker. But what about those male celebs like Brad Pitt (who I love) who spent like half of their careers shirtless? Aren’t they using their sex appeal to appeal to female audiences? Yet I’ve never seen anyone imply that Brad Pitt is a tramp or slut. Isnt that what people call a double standard?
I find it kind of funny how all these Adam Levine (who I also like…less so after what he did) fangirls are defending what he did. Newsflash! you can defend what he did all you want, he’s still not going to bang you.
As for Tony Lucca, the Britney Spears cover was clever. It was a clever response to the one dimensional comment. Everything afterwards was just so unnecessary. and for people going on about how Xtina was disrespectful by texting. Please. If someone implied you were a bitch, you’d be ignoring them too. If someone disrespected you or a social group you’re part of, would you give them “respect”?
