I wonder how many of the people who said Christina has no right to talk about misogyny because of the way she dresses also feel the same way about Gaga. If what Christina was wearing was a sparkly diaper…then what was Gaga wearing? Half a sparkly diaper?I also find it kind of funny how because Christina wears revealing clothes, everyone says she’s a slut or an attention seeker. But what about those male celebs like Brad Pitt (who I love) who spent like half of their careers shirtless? Aren’t they using their sex appeal to appeal to female audiences? Yet I’ve never seen anyone imply that Brad Pitt is a tramp or slut. Isnt that what people call a double standard?
I find it kind of funny how all these Adam Levine (who I also like…less so after what he did) fangirls are defending what he did. Newsflash! you can defend what he did all you want, he’s still not going to bang you. As for Tony Lucca, the Britney Spears cover was clever. It was a clever response to the one dimensional comment. Everything afterwards was just so unnecessary. and for people going on about how Xtina was disrespectful by texting. Please. If someone implied you were a bitch, you’d be ignoring them too. If someone disrespected you or a social group you’re part of, would you give them “respect”?

Anonymous asked: Lady Gaga wore several veiled outfits almost two years ago, before Bionic was released... More to the point, neither of them invented, or were the first to sport the look. Net veils have been in the world of high fashion for over a hundred years now. Nobody has copyright over them...

veiled outfits maybe. but fishnet masks with jewels at the intersections?  c’mon. i used to follow Gaga’s career so I know what she has or hasnt worn. and the media is so saturated at the moment with her stuff that its hard not to know what she hasnt worn (regardless of whether you actually actively follow her.

that one picture is just one example of how unoriginal she is. like the metal dress she wore in paparazzi. she didnt think of that. she just pulled it off a dolce&gabbana show. that’s not particularly innovative.

should we go on? look at Gaga’s rolling stone cover with the cotton candy hair. Xtina has done it a billion times. Am I saying Xtina has copyright over cotton candy hair? no. Xtina is just an example of someone whos done it before Gaga, who supposedly according to a lot of people comes up with never before seen fashion.

Anonymous asked: christina isnt the first person to wear a fishnet mask either... i highly doubt Gaga looked at that exact photo of christina and though "oh im going to steal that"

like I said, I not saying anyone’s copying anyone or giving credit to whoever wore “jewel studded fishnet masks” first

just saying for an artist who is known for her originality, a lot of her outfits have already been done/been simply pulled off random runway shows

not saying Gaga copied anyone just saying she’s not as original as everyone says she isjewel studded fishnet veil/mask
